Our founder, Dave Nicholls, has over 14 years of experience in the innovation, venture development, and investment space. He has a proven track record of success in helping businesses grow and succeed.

In his previous role at Asahi Beverages, Dave was responsible for identifying and developing new venture businesses from idea development to commercial launch. He also oversaw all aspects of the disruption ecosystem strategy, including idea qualification, opportunity identification, venture pitch to board and launch, prescriptive U&A analysis, adaptive innovation, and disruption venture UX and UI.

Prior to Asahi Beverages, Dave was the CEO and Founder of FlashFomo, a social commerce platform that helps global influencers create and sell customized products. He successfully secured investment from SOSV, led by William Bao Bean and Sean O'Sullivan, and followed on by Artesian together with local and foreign investors. FlashFomo was integrated into YouTube in 2021 and subsequently was awarded AiMCO “Best Influencer Marketing Platform or Technology”.

Dave is a passionate advocate for corporate innovation and investment in emerging businesses. He is a frequent speaker on disruptive businesses, emerging technologies, innovation, creator economy, and social commerce.

Founders Achievements:

  • Currently leading the Transformation for Victorian Temporary Fencing. Driving efficiencies through the implementation of a logistics application to support Operations to better communicate with the driving fleet, AI Quoting systems, Establishing and deploying a CRM. As part of this process a core element is engaging key stakeholders to embrace the changes required to streamline the business operations and identify innovative solutions that provides long term value to the business.

  • Led Electric Ventures Operational growth on behalf of Ethan Logan, focusing investment thesis on consumer products, consumer tech enablement, and fintech platforms.

  • Established and managed pipeline of venture ideas and opportunities for Asahi Beverages as well as facilitated growth of Asahi new ventures and go-to-market approach by identifying strong partner networks. Prepared & presented to the Board for funding allocation and new venture launch plans.

  • Winner AiMCO “Best Influencer Marketing Platform or Technology” 2021 (FlashFomo)

  • Integrated FlashFomo’s technology into YouTube’s Merch Shelf Shopping enabling Creator Commerce on YouTube (2021)

  • Joined WebTVAsia Sdn Bhd. as the first employee and contractor in Australia, expediting transition and facilitating training capabilities across 11 Asian markets.

  • Expanded Brave Bison PLC business coverage by establishing a business function in Singapore, which grew the business in APAC from $0 to $6M ARR.
